'A PLACE TO GATHER'

Architecture / Design / Urban / Nature / Landscape

This project was developed during my architectural studies and explores the design of a community-focused workshop and learning space.

The assignment required that only 60% of the site could be built upon, challenging us to carefully balance the building footprint with generous open space. Another important objective was to ensure an abundance of natural daylight throughout the project, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for community activities and workshops.

The design responds to these requirements by organizing the program around open and accessible spaces that encourage interaction, learning, and creativity. Particular attention was given to the relationship between the built volume and the surrounding outdoor areas, allowing light to penetrate deep into the building while maintaining strong visual connections with the landscape.

Shown here are the architectural plans together with a series of Vectorworks renderings that illustrate the spatial organization, material atmosphere, and daylight strategy of the proposal.
