Meet the creator

kIRAN MAHABALI

I’m a multidisciplinary artist and designer from ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, with a background in audiovisual design, fine arts, and architecture. My creative practice is rooted in curiosity and connection, between people, disciplines, and histories.

Influenced by the rhythmic depth of artists like Mansur Brown, Yussef Dayes, and Alfa Mist, and shaped by a lifelong love for R&B and hip hop, music has always been my first language.

I play guitar, compose, and more recently, share energy through DJ sets that explore emotion through sound.

As a visual artist and designer, I draw inspiration from organic architecture, Victor Horta’s flowing forms, and the radical spatial interventions of Gordon Matta-Clark. My work often explores themes of architecture, colonialism, and the return to essence. I’m driven by the desire to create not just works, but experiences, immersive, thoughtful, and deeply human.

I thrive in collaboration and am known for being a connector, someone who brings people, disciplines, and ideas together with openness and vision. Whether in a solo piece or a team project, I’m always searching for resonance.
